On Saturday October 14, the sun, moon and earth play a cosmic dance and line up. This will produce an annular eclipse where the moon does not cover the entire sun producing the “ring of fire”. Many astronomy groups in your area will most likely have viewing parties.

The sky was ablaze tonight with a fantastic display of Northern Lights. The sun opened up and sent a huge Coronal Mass Ejecta - a cloud of charged particles our way. I have not seen and photographed a display like this in many years.
