Since the start of the #COVID pandemic we have worked with airlines to support Australians to return from across the 🌏. Today DFAT’s 200th facilitated commercial flight ✈️ arrived in 🇦🇺 from 🇩🇪. International travel is on track to reopen safely to vaccinated Australians.

The DFAT repatriation flights scheme is a shambles. The email yesterday offered flights from India, to people in UK. FFS.
Failed to build quarantine centres: The next 3 DFAT monthly flights from UK offered at 5.10pm. Alerted in a blanket email, 20K+ Aussies stranded in UK did aHunger Games scramble to a linked website to try to book a seat. 3 minutes later all 1,000 seats gone. No queue, a shambles!
