PHP did the markup and server code mixing 20 years ago and collectively decided its a bad idea as it becomes unmaintanable pretty fast. Now that gets further complicated by also mixing with frontend-stack complexity... Can somebody explain to me why that is a good idea now?

This is only useful for simple CRUD based apps, not line of business applications with complex business rules. The context of the project is very important. The biggest misconception is that most people who read about the advanced topics, don't understand the content the first…

Never use final classes if you work on public package.

Great introduction movie about Laravel — one of the fastest ways to start your own business. It really has everything you need out of the box, check this out

I've done it, I've published a YouTube video! It's called "PHP is the future." Let me know what you think! youtu.be/xmvD_EjNE-4

PHP Logo is the ugliest language logo I ever seen. Like nobody wanna Fiat Multipla although it works for years, I can't imagine a young man who would like to try this fat elephant so loved by the community of grandpas.

I also want to add Angular because of our shared hatred for it, but PHP is simply too ugly

This is soooo funny! Looking at how people re-invent oldschool PHP practices considered the worst in the community. Again, PHP has a huge problem with branding, not the technologies it represents and supports. The fat ugly elephant must be reformatted.

usefathom.com/blog/does-lara… one of the best I read about Laravel limitations.

#LaraconIN inspired me to push out some content after quite some time: PHP has a problem with its brand, not with its technology. This is my take to the whole #phpisdead discussion and why we shouldn't downplay it. #laravel #php medium.com/@florian_4237/…
