This was entirely predictable and predicted. I’m hearing lots of stories like this. It’s crazy to stick this massive complexity on small businesses that are already being eviscerated by the bad faith Canada post strike. Civil servants need to do better for us.

Conservatives went from “Trudeau won’t get us vaccines ‘til 2030” to “Trudeau bought too many vaccines” to “I won’t take Trudeau’s vaccine and you can’t make me” in, like, a year.
If the new Omicron variant tells us anything, it is that we are all in this together. Failure to vaccinate populations anywhere leads to risk everywhere, no matter our reactive travel restrictions that feel more performative than effective. We simply must vaccinate the world.
