A huge number of dieticians recommend that processed foods should be avoided. This is bad news for vegans, because all soy based foods, and the meat alternatives are massively processed. Soya naturally has a horrid taste and no-one would eat it without it being processed.
Do Vegans realise that 94% of soya is Genetically Modified? Some GM foods have antibiotic resistant Gene's. According to Medical News Today, there is a small chance that these Gene's can transfer to cells in the body or to bacteria in the gut. #eatnaturalfood

Had another response yesterday regarding the CO2 of meat compared to plants. Yet again no mention of systems. Also no mention of the enormous loss of soil carbon, in monoculture mass production of plant based foods. Loss of soil and soil Carbon is a very real global threat.
The whole of civilisation has been built on 6 inches of soil and rain. Every ancient civilisation abused this and paid the price. We are in the process of repeating this. Soil degradation and erosion is the biggest threat to humanity.
Had a response from a vegan highlighting the amount of water per Kg of beef. They always quote the feed lot beef figure of 2,000 litres per kg. Which ironically is the same as 1 kg of avocados or rice. Not to mention 12 litres per almond. #dodgyground #balancedargument #bylocal
