We don't hate James; most of us appreciate what he's done and admire him as a good man. The jury is still out on you, however.....
Pat Kraft with a message to fans for the remainder of the season: “You can hate me, you can hate James. But rally around (the players). They deserve it. That’s who Penn State is. That’s who we are.”

Listen maybe this doesn't happen but everything Pat Kraft is saying about hiring someone who embodies Penn State sure does make it sound like this ends with exactly one guy.
It's not even a lateral move. Going from CJF to Rhule is a downgrade.
I have no idea why Matt Rhule is even being mentioned in these lists. I feel like one person mentioned him off the cuff and now everybody is just copying that person. PSU would be far better off keeping Franklin than making a dip shit lateral move like bringing in Matt Rhule.

Most PSU fans have a lot of respect & admiration for CJF. He came in during an exceedingly difficult time and rebuilt the program. We are forever grateful for his grace, hard work and accomplishments during this period.

Penn State will likely take a crack at potential splash hires (Cignetti, Dillingham), but this really feels like Matt Rhule’s job to lose. State College native, Penn State alum, strong track record, helped turn around Temple with Pat Kraft. Oh, and Dylan Raiola has another year

Top three names for me for Penn State 1) Matt Rhule - It's not glitz and glamour, but he's proven. 2) Matt Campbell - young ball knower. Has done a lot with less in Big 12. Pair him with a top GM & watch. 3) Curt Cignetti - You see what he has done at Indiana.
