Lol this is hilarious. They're making crypto so big it's correlated to mortgages.
I underestimated how much exposure Fannie and Freddie ("F2") have to crypto, not on balance sheet, but in their shareholder bases. Run a correlation between F2 and bitcoin and you will see what I mean. Forced liquidations and margin calls in crypto are leading to F2 share sales…
We're in a silent recession. What I'm seeing: 1) Real estate struggling bad. None of my friends in this business are growing and many are going through very stressful situations trying to recap debt. 2) Home services are hungry. HVAC, plumbing, electrical in my area are slow…
Flows going the other way now. Wouldn't be surprised to see a wipeout.
$IBIT had worst day of outflows ever yesterday about half a billion. Ugly stretch, although YTD flows still at an astronomical +$25b (6th overall). All told $3.3b in total outflows past month from btc ETFs, which is 3.5% of aum.

No Bitcoin ETFs offer insurance against custody losses. If I had to price it myself I would say it is 3-5% but who knows. I doubt anyone would go lower than 2%.
Stock guys are annoying because the number barely ever goes down. Crypto is steeped in the culture of down. We have much better humor because of it.
How are you going to hand out stimulus at ATH? Congress will not approve
Govts should never cover a single student loan or mortgage again. Let all the rates go up or have banks refuse to lend against this collateral
