On Truth and Reconciliation day - as a Dad to an Indigenous girl - I say to residential school deniers: stop with your sophistry about graves. Stop. Thousands of Indigenous kids were taken from their parents and terribly abused. That's the truth. So, reconcile. #cdnpoli
These are challenging and stressful times, but never give up hope. Do the right thing and set a path for others to do the same.
The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards justice. Except it doesn’t bend on its own—it bends because we pull it in the direction of justice. What keeps me hopeful during times like these is being surrounded by people who are doing just that.

Great visit to @NorthStarOrg in Central Saanich. When people say farming needs huge swaths of land, they haven’t seen places like this. 10 acres, 15 workers , 100% organic, runs all year. Great to see @mmanion_mike - as always - learning about how we can strengthen agriculture.
Learning a ton today on the @UBCM Farm Tour, especially here at the Mustard Seed Food Distribution Centre and Food Hub. Can’t wait to share what I’ve learned here with our Mission Food Coalition.

Years ago, one of our player’s dads asked to do the pregame talk: “Listen guys, are you allowed to hit your sisters?” “Ummm… no.” “Okay, just go out there and pretend the other players are your sisters.” Can’t lie. The kids played with extra energy that day.
