Frozen bread: 1 sweet French loaf (1 end missing), 1 lg. challah, 1 loaf flaxseed sandwich bread. Please take them! :)
Last call on the challah before it hits the freezer. 20 minutes.
The challah is big (it spread out while waiting for the oven, overflowing the stone) and looks *wonderful*. Tastes great. No takers yet.
Irish soda bread was a roaring success; will be making some for give-away soon. Stay tuned.
I'll be headed to Berkeley in a little less than an hour, if anyone's watching and wants this focaccia before it hits the freezer. :)
The focaccia is soft on the inside, crispy on the outside, mild with accents of garlic and rosemary. Any takers?
No mixer today, but I'll make focaccia today... probably rosemary and garlic. I'm thinking about pita too. I'll keep you posted.
Hoping to borrow a mixer (mine's getting serviced) and bake tomorrow... stay tuned.
The french bread is *amazing*; a broken loaf is available, I'll freeze it tonight. I've got to make it more often...
G's dad has dibs on the white bread (new to GF, misses sandwiches). French bread in now, looking great, still available.
White bread getting thrown back into beta; it IS one of the oldest. Still baking, it may be avail. if quality is good. Next: french bread.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, I've got 9 recipes to bake, full flour bins, and... well, no sunglasses. But I'll get underway tomorrow.
