I get it that $ONEW business would decrease significantly in a crisis, but even if it halved the company would still be attractively priced if they would stop expanding or, alternatively, if they would keep on expanding (at cheaper acquisition prices). What am I missing?

Europe is in a critical state, particularly as the snowball effect hasn't really kicked in yet, and political decisions are spiralling further and further into the wrong direction. Doesn't smell good.

Eurozone inflation has moved up to 7.5%, its highest level ever. Meanwhile, the ECB is still holding interest rates at negative levels with no plans to normalize. This is perhaps the greatest disconnect between monetary policy and rising prices that the world has ever seen.
