I've just published my first (personal) blog post in quite some time. Applying Temporal to Request/Response Microservices (blog.corneliadavis.com/applying-tempo…) Goal, resilience. I applied to to the code example that runs through my book.
I obviously haven't posted in a long time, but I'm getting back "out there" so am forced to face the quandary - what social platform to use. I'm going to give myself permission to experiment for a bit, including being here on X. We'll see for how long.

Can anyone comment on why std::iter::Iterator supplies a count method? count is not an iteration operation (despite it implying (requiring?) iteration to produce). @rustlang
Back in the 1960s & 70s my mom, living in the US, and her sister, living in Germany, rather than sending letters to each other, sent cassette tapes they recorded of them talking to each other. Anyone else have that experience?
