What are guys finding for real efficiency gains when switching to 160’ sprayers from 120’? Our 120’ averages 75 acres per engine hour. Can we expect 110? Sprayer upgrades are tough to make pencil out. @LowBoomLowDrift

Have a customer debating between an inline knife opener or the standard side band fert knife on a Vaderstad drill. This is on Regina heavy clay soil type, I don’t have any experience with the inline knife in these conditions. Curious as to others’ thoughts?

I have been told that these $7 Walmart basketballs will stop the swirling in the hot tank. Hopefully someone isn’t playing a joke on me…

Have a new Maverix Outback Guidance system with the electric wheel for sale. Bought new never opened boxes, sold tractor it was to go in. Priced it out today at $10,500, would like $9000 if anyone interested. In Rosetown but in Saskatoon often.

Make sure you do a walk around your grain trailer in deer shed season, that coulda been expensive.

Yesterday’s trial meeting with @MaxAgConsulting pointed out that we need to do a better job of trying new cereal and pulse varieties. Are there any seed farms that could treat seed into mini bulk bags? Looking for 10 or more 1MT bags for our trial group.

I’d call this a win. Boundary mapped with the truck last week. Boundary track steering perfectly down a creek side. Hopefully it’s the same case in May.

If you’re not first, you’re last! Testing out the new Agra-GPS RTK system.

Gotta love when a truck shows up to pick up a $100k load of mustard and the inside of the truck looks like this. See ya later, go find something else to haul.

There’s no drop off fee because we’re forced to pay the fee on the front end and have no option to opt out and have them recycled in our own province. Great job patting yourselves on the back for bribing the govt into having a monopoly on ag plastic. #harvest22 #WestCdnAg

As #harvest2022 continues, we’re seeing more #grainbags in fields & hope it’s an indicator of a terrific growing season. Don’t forget, if you use this storage option you can #recyclegrainbags when empty, with no drop-off fee at #Cleanfarms sites: bit.ly/2Z0La2Z

Wrapping up #harvest22 today with this brown mustard crop that was totally lost to flea beetles in May and reseeded in June. Had my doubts it would make it but it’s almost in the bin!
