📚 If you’re a student choosing what to focus on, pick MATH. It will teach you to relentlessly rely on your own brain, think logically, break down problems, and solve them step by step in the right order. That’s the core skill you’ll need to build companies and manage projects.
From the 1985 Xilinx XC2064 FPGA to the AMD Versal AI Edge Gen 2, this is 40 years of innovation. @AMD’s programmable tech has evolved from simple logic blocks to powerful AI brains.

I can feel it too, OLED little screens are too cute 🥰
got this 140W charger that tells me how much power each of the 4 connected devices is using and it makes me very happy

Stop looking for summaries, advice, and hacks. You need the fluff, the long answers, and the experience to understand all the nuances that you can only get from trial and error. Start consuming longer content. Read challenging books. Experiment and take note of things.
Here's Low Level Programming University! This github repo is a nice little roadmap on how to learn low level as a whole. Off these resources alone, you could become an expert. Enjoy!

The funny thing is that it generates cleaner clock signals than my circuits

Becoming rapidly apparent that a good way to give a child the internet while avoiding avoiding the oceans of child-targeted internet slop is to give them ChatGPT
If you think Linux is hard, just wait until you have to debug a broken package dependency.
I’m trying to do the same with Linux
I'm convinced the golden age of analog IC design was the 2000s. Verilog-AMS was at its peak, people were inventing a billion new applications for the super source follower, TDCs for RF were seen as the future. Stuff was crazy back then
I kinda wish I was born in the 1980s so I could figure out some of the early CMOS circuits as a grad student

Build local, host private

Get a ThinkPad for your lab work (and for any other rude environnement). Get a MacBook for all your other computing needs.
This is the best laptop in the world. Period.

I’m going after the fourth one
