TAG questions the necessity of low-flying aircraft from Heathrow
Teddington Action Group has questioned the necessity of low-flying aircraft from Heathrow and state that they are flying lower compared to other airports causing more noise, more suffering and more...
I had a 3 and half year old a new born and sepsis and I coped.
Important thread. RT please.
December 31st; China alerts WHO to new virus. January 23rd: Study reveals a third of China’s patients require intensive care. January 24th: Boris Johnson misses first Cobra meeting. January 29th: Boris Johnson misses second Cobra meeting.
WTF? Care workers are chronically short of PPE as 1000s of residents are dying of coronavirus & @MattHancock says he's giving them all a bloody BADGE? This is not the Thick Of It, Health Secretary, this is real life & death. Stop patronising these heroes & get them PPE.
I suspect most of the public are unaware of how deaths are classified. The initial death certificate looks like this. In the case of #COVID19 deaths, the immediate cause might be peneumonia with Covid 19 as a factor. They end up getting coded using ICD 10 codes.
Today, China has flown in 300 ventilators, 33 million masks and 1 million gloves for the NHS. The media really needs to start reporting positive stories of international solidarity.
Heard reporter say she was on way to stand outside hospital where the #PrimeMinister is! For Gods sake can’t they give it a rest? They should not be there, they are not front line workers, hope police move them on! #GetWellBoris #StayHomeSaveLives #SocialDistancing #stayaway
Am a big fan of Professor Whitty - he’s got a sweetness about him. And he’s clearly realised that he needs to treat these journalists as both thick *and* devious.
One discrepancy in the sitting down alone outside ‘rule’ is that those of us who are lucky enough to have a private garden are all sitting in those gardens in household groups, all day. It’s a luxury that so many people don’t have and they are being shamed for that.
We haven't got to this stage in the UK yet but it won't be long.
'Bad leaders believe people work for them. Good leaders believe people work with them. Great leaders believe they work for people. Especially in crisis, we depend on servant leaders to put others first.' — @AdamMGrant #servantleadership #Culture #Leadership #coronavirus
Sorry, but this is just absolutely f*cking ridiculous. 👇
'They enter the country if they are able to do so.' Housing and Communities Secretary @RobertJenrick says most people arriving in the UK from coronavirus hotspots like New York and Italy would not be tested.
If I had had one question for @dominicraab it would have been why are so many people arriving at our airports from all parts of the world without being tested?
Idea - there is a weatherspoons pub with a big ( now empty)car park more or less opp Kings College hospital- surely this could be handed over to NHS critical care staff?
Apologies to my twitter followers as my tweets/retweets seem to switch from joyful one moment to totally depressing the next. What exactly does Cabinet think keeping building sites open is worth? A thousand #COVID19 deaths? How about 10,000 because that's where we're heading 😷
