Small thread on some of the features I love about #Kotlin, and why I think it's different from modern Java and will continue to differentiate even more in the future. Kotlin is much more than "A better Java" or Java++ to me. And of course, the Kotlin community is pure ❤️
I'm surprised to hear that, but I might be biased. Nothing against Java, especially modern Java but Kotlin allows me to write much more readable code and allows me to use much nicer patterns. Also nothing against Clojure, I like it but it's sadly not popular in the industry 1/?
