Wishing you a good recovery. I wish I had Apple Stores in my country so I could try it before committing to buying it (looking to buy a used one for 3k). I'm kinda tired of my MBP 14 screen, and I love coding on my lay z boy. Do you recommend it then?

This is the real killer app. Why look at a tiny laptop screen when you can have as many monitors as you want? Just need to get over the public embarrassment. Like we did with AirPods and the Apple Watch. Wishing you a speedy and uneventful recovery.
