Doing OO programming with #Python for a living and functional programming with #Clojure for fun; using #Vim and #Mercurial for both :-)

Hi - I am moving to a new Twitter account with more focus and activity (but still low-noise): @BetterLessCode
Glad to see that @jetbrains proudly supports #Mercurial, the sane #DVCS

The docstring for the #Clojure function `not-any`? could be reworded to "returns true if (pred x) is logically false for all x in coll, else false"
Dear followers, I will not tweet here anymore, you can follow me at @LessCodeWins if you wish. Best regards, Jorge

As an early adopter, I am glad to read that for the first time ever, #Python overtook #Java on the #TiobeIndex. This may be an ephemeral moment, but it's worth to reflect on this achievement by a language which never tried hard to maximize popularity. tiobe.com/tiobe-index/

Somehow I had overlooked that code blocks in #Joplin do have syntax highlighting. Tested with #Python *and* #Clojure. Awesome!

(Skip this tweet if you love to hate the #TiobeIndex) It's already a sensation that #Python has been Top 3 for half a year. Now #Tiobe are forecasting it may overtake #Java or #C. Stay tuned! Early adopters rejoice!
