L/S Market Musings | Not Financial Advice

$SPRB would be fun if markets just removed halts and really let the animal spirit out

How are we supposed to encourage US biotech innovations, if we allow big pharma like Eli Lilly $LLY walking away from purposely screwing small biotech partner, without severe consequences? How much harm has been done to patients? @realDonaldTrump @VPrasadMDMPH @US_FDA

Earlier I mentioned $lly $nktr internal documents and emails If anyone wants to check - Exs. 15-18, 25, 44-45, 49 in trial brief references, - Depositions (Kotzin, Do, Franke, Zalevsky on data concerns) - JSC minutes (Ex 3 in Moorman Decl) Findings are as follows: - $lly…

$OVID No position here, but funny how quickly sentiment can flip based on timing of release. I recall people $MDGL getting bid down dramatically into their ph. 3, which they waited to report on the very last day.

$EQ Really ridiculous that it will take until mid-2026 to enroll and start EQ504 phase 1. Nothing else in the pipeline. What are the 6 executives doing all day?

$SRRK someone always knows…

The very worst policies are always bipartisan: statnews.com/2025/09/15/tru…

$XBI Sector selling off bc of Trump risk, I think. He demanded prices fall by “late Sept.” and Lutnick said he was talking about drug prices all day on Sat. after UNH ceo meeting. Wouldn’t be surprised if he goes down this rabbit hole w/ midterms around corner.

NEW: In the Sunday @nytopinion, Kurt Campbell and I argue America alone can’t match China’s scale. With "allied scale," it’s no contest. But if Trump keeps alienating US partners, we'll never get there—and the next century will be China's to lose.

The natural, moral reaction to the gluttony, sloth, and opulent pride of tech and the coasts is advocating for socialism. I say that as a capitalist, and am not advocating for socialism here. Hear me out. The median American income is $39k/yr. Yes, it’s good that America has…

Imagine going through life like this. Making sure everyone uses the exact perfect word in every situation you deem it appropriate. Another perfect analogy to woke.

Hey, Wikipedia. Both men should have identical causes of death. But Charlie’s entry is gaslit. Fix it, Wikipedia. MLK has “assassination by gunshot” and Charlie just has “gunshot wound” as if it was some hunting accident. Fix it. Fix it now.

$NKTR Pretty sure $LLY settles this to avoid getting in front of a jury. Was going to write something up, but legal outside my domain. Really strange case the more you dig into this. I'd be interested to hear from anyone RE: the bear case against $NKTR from legal perspective ?

And this is why JD Vance and others are using the language that they are. Democrats don't know these things are happening. So you can't reason with them. They aren't even in baseline reality. You have to push for the right results with masculine will, it's the only way.

BREAKING - It’s been revealed the New York Times has written over 100 times about Daniel Penny, but when searching for the name of the Charlotte light rail victim on their site, Iryna Zarutska, not a single result can be found.

$EQ Up on $ABVX buyout rumor... we could see a $DRUG like sympathy movement. (Went from $1 to $40 on the heel of $LBPH buyout because of same MoA.)

$UTHR $LQDA TETON hit. Really wasn’t sure of it but R/R seemed +ve. Think people are still too bearish on the name, but can’t make heads of tails so sold out and now only holding $LQDA

Still think this is true. Out of $INSM fully but still think $LQDA goes higher on more earnings beats. Sold some $UTHR but still like it because it’s so cheap.

The secret behind $UTHR $LQDA and $INSM is that all three have upside from here…

got worse, but holding. too cheap rn

$SRPT bought @ 20.50 — can’t get that much worse

$GUTS Hard to say, but I think a Peter Thiel backed beaten down micro-cap that fits neatly into the GLP mega trend story w/ recent private offering and existing +ve data has the potential to run-up into their Sept. readout…

$vktx how much is a me too Tzp worth? what are some creative ways to create value here? another person had this idea — but an efficiently run gov could buy the co. for $4b and sell it at 1/2 price to Medicare/Medicaid. gov would earn everything back + score public health win
