not been reading as much bc i am also a gamer and i can only let one one consume me at a time i fear, will try getting back into katabasis tomorrow
possible unpopular opinion but i actually prefer when books basically drop you in immediately, no several chapters of backstory and build up to the main event. for this it’s literally just first chapter going “alice is going to hell btw” and i’m like “what the hell, sure 👍 “
bit nervy to start katabasis i am infamously Not Smart (failed a lot of my exams because mental health in school) and i’ve only just gotten properly into reading books for the first time in 4 years pray for me people 🙏
