The gales of November, have in fact, come early.
Clase was texting the co conspirators during games. Vogt is responsible for his clubhouse. He must be fired for cause.
My summary - Clase was doing this for 3 years - His buddies made $400K doing it, some money was given to Clase, lots sent back to DR - Clase would call these dudes on the phone DURING GAMES to confirm stuff - Ortiz only got involved right before getting caught - Guys were…
You can’t govern the way Trump has — rescissions and impoundment, firing minority commissioners, blowing up the White House, sending troops into cities where they’re not wanted — and expect people to believe it’s not your fault that planes can’t fly.
We know free buses work because they’ve already worked, and the cost is comparable to other budget items — for example the public subsidy for a new Buffalo Bills stadium
The subtext of this whole fight is the filibuster. Dems were winning the blame game and could have held out indefinitely, but they weren’t going to win adequate policy concessions from Trump — eventually Rs would’ve been forced to nuke. Fine by me, but many Senators disagree.
This is not a deal — it's an empty promise. Trump and his Republican Congress are making healthcare more expensive for the middle class and ending it for working families. Time for Democrats to stand tall for affordable healthcare.
BREAKING: Senators have reached a deal to end the government shutdown. politico.com/news/2025/11/0…
Half a million Ohioans are facing monthly premiums that are double or triple what they were paying. This is a bad deal for Ohioans. It does nothing to help the out-of-control costs people are facing. We can’t allow health care costs to skyrocket and not be willing to fight. This…
Unbelievable. Who are you afraid of Tim
My statement on the funding deal to reopen government, protect federal employees, and vote to protect health care
game theory 101 is that you shouldn’t reward your opponents for defecting, because it encourages them to do the same in the future just political and strategic malpractice
I just asked Sen. King what changed in the Dem caucus on ACA now, since Thune had offered them a vote weeks earlier. He said: “I think the length of the shutdown. The question was as the shutdown progresses, is a solution on the ACA becoming any more likely? It appears not.“
If Slotkin is saying this, other Senators should follow her lead.
Sen. Elissa Slotkin (D-Mich.) said she stepped away from talks on ending shutdown because it became clear it wouldn’t deal with health care crisis. Slotkin said deal “has got to do something concrete on health care and it’s hard to see how that happens.”
You did not get “a random sample of 100,000”.
We were disappointed, and honestly, angry over our New Jersey polling. Our first September Labor Day poll showed Sherrill +10. By late September, after debates, campaign controversies, and the Kirk assassination, everything changed. The race tightened fast. More Republicans…
This is why car dealers don’t deserve rights
A sleepy Senate Commerce hearing on transportation nominees devolves into heated fight between Sens. Jacky Rosen (D) and Bernie Moreno (R), with Rosen accusing Moreno of tracking her team’s car VIN numbers ROSEN: That seems a little creepy Moreno says he’s exposing hypocrisy
NEED a profile of these five rival cemetery groundskeepers (or rival ghosts!)
hard to discern what exactly a cuomo vote means but just eyeballing the map, some east asian communities in queens might just be republican now
Federal law enforcement enters North Center daycare takes person into custody
I love New York and I’m sorry for all the stuff I said when the G train was delayed
A lot was made about Zohran's inroads among Queens Asians in the primary. Tonight they voted solidly for Cuomo. Turns out they're just no longer part of the Dem primary electorate.
Third term penalty, NJ moving somewhat to the right, Spanberger a better candidate than Sherill, Ciatterelli a better candidate than Sears.
If Sherril wins by ~six and Spanberger wins by ~12 I think people will drive themselves nuts trying to analyze a gap this is mostly explained by a third term penalty.
Reminder not to trust early exit polls, but rather to send them to me so that I can carefully and responsibly not trust them, as a professional.
Zohran’s closing message: Watch me eat wings and watch the Bills with Governor Hochul Cuomo’s closing message: these are all the reasons why my car is slightly different than legendary Bills running back OJ Simpson’s car
New York, here’s a little history on why we’ll win this race—last stretch magic courtesy of the good luck truck! #VoteforCuomo
