MAJOR NEWS: @GavinNewsom signed SB 79, my bill allowing more housing near public transit — rail, subway, rapid bus. It’s a huge step for housing in California. It’ll create more homes, strengthen our transit systems & reduce traffic & carbon emissions. Thank you, Governor!
I am on the board of the CT Airport Authority. We have been instructed to play this video at all of our airports, in what appears to me to be a clear violation of the Hatch Act.
sign SB-79 please
Sorry Mr. President, but it seems YOU are not telling the truth. The Golden State has seen back-to-back years of population growth. Get the facts —> gov.ca.gov/2025/05/01/cal…

BIG NEWS: Our ROAD to Housing Act passed the Senate last night! After the first housing committee markup in nearly TWO DECADES and months of bipartisan work – we’re finally moving to tackle the housing crisis. It cuts red tape, builds more homes, and makes government part of the…
Great article in The NY Times … on the decreasing number of 3 child families in the City.

Companies are hiring many more internal policy specialists than lobbyists; it is a much larger investment in politics and internal expertise andrewbenjaminhall.com/HallSun25.pdf

Not one California city on the list and yet a bill that eases zoning and permitting restrictions along major transit corridors has been sitting on Gov Newsom's desk for more than 2 weeks as he tries to decide whether to sign it.

Seems more likely that information about the Nobels has always been leaky; there just hasn't been a way to monetize that information until now?
A Polymarket user figured out who won the Nobel Peace Prize almost 11 hours before the official announcement from the Nobel Committee. The Nobel Committee just got front-run by the internet. The market was trading at $0.08 and rose to $1.00, a 100x gain for those who got in…

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but this is genuinely good Chuck Schumer Content
we have been working on this new polling aggregation website for a few months now, and are excited to share it with the world! plenty more features and polls to come.
Hi, I've been working on a lil something
New Yorkers: After voting for candidates who will fight for affordability on the front of your November ballots, flip↩️your ballot to vote YES on affordable housing proposals 2-5 So that New Yorkers like Austin can afford to stay in the neighborhoods that raised them.
👶📦 “Home size influences fertility decisions” The report reveals a striking correlation: married women in 2- or 3-bedroom apartments often have higher fertility rates than those in smaller apartments. 💬 “If you want to support family formation, building more family-friendly…

What's more, these estimates are likely underselling the story about black voters. Our most exhaustive estimates - which incorporate voter validation data but are only available from 2006 onward - suggest that black turnout was even lower. Now likely on par with AAPI voters.

Bonus chart - the turnout gap vs. whites. Black voters - who essentially closed that gap in '08 + '12 - are back to 90s levels. The gaps for Latino voters have remained steadily wide. While APPI voters are doing better than earlier periods, '24 still represented a decline.

Meanwhile, in reality: This is what Republicans are doing to your health care costs.

Mike Johnson: "Let me look right into the camera and tell you very clearly: Republicans are the ones concerned about healthcare. Republicans are the party working around the clock everyday to fix healthcare. This is not talking points for us: we've done it."
From this reporting it doesn’t sound like there will be anything in the first HOME plan allocation that would help get one (1) new housing unit built whyy.org/articles/home-…
Everyone’s giving this rave reviews but wouldn’t it have been better if he actually answered her question and didn’t imply that a voter had her brain fried by propaganda?
People are being robbed. The answer to that is not shame or anger. The answer is empathy and compassion.
An underrated problem in the United States is a large segment of the population not understanding who was president for the entirety of the year 2020.
The 2020 Census was a fraud. The Biden admin used a shady “privacy” formula that scrambled the data and miscounted 14 states. It included illegal immigrants and handed Democrats extra seats. Americans deserve a fair count and I’m fighting to fix it.

Yet another null finding for RCV's effect. Time to accept that RCV is too marginal to make any meaningful difference on political outcomes or representation, and move on?
