$15k/month, work on something you’re passionate about, fully control how you spend your time, never miss any important family moments and be there for your partner/kids/pets That’s not a hobby, that’s the dream life

Someone said that a $10–15k/month product is a hobby and not a business. Let’s forget for a second that this is more than the average salary of most people. For many solo founders the goal isn’t to make as much money as possible. It’s to feel free and build a life they don’t…

Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but codex seems sooo much slower than claude code at doning the same kind of tasks

I keep seeing this over and over ("don't worry about the code", "distribute ASAP" etc) and while there might be some truth to it, I'm choosing to just ignore the noise. I want to build something polished, that feels complete and genuinely fun to use. That simply takes time.

People be on this app saying: "building is cooked, distribution is everything now" Yet I look at their profile and they have: > no link in bio to any projects > nothing in their timeline about their project > seemingly shipped nothing you gotta start by at least building…

Decided I didn't want to go with the standard sidebar after all... I present: Tibbie's dynamic nav tabs

The Tibbie settings page is coming together very nicely. It's not the most exciting part, but required nevertheless and deserves to be built with attention to detail and UX.

If I wanted to train a model on a bunch of books and articles for private use, what would be the best way to do that? Do you have to train one yourself, or can you feed it to GPT/Claude or whatever somehow?

I'm loving building with Convex. i've barely scratched the surface of what's possible.

Experimenting with some sidebar interactions for Tibbie. I'm really aiming to make every part of the experience feel smooth, interactive and fun. Using the awesome Hugeicons set by @masumparvej_ doesn't hurt either :)

shadcn also shadcn it's such a nice library of awesome components, but that doesn't mean you can't tweak it however you like

I agree with the premise and I think people can improve their lives 10x by just asking for things but I can’t imagine why anyone would want to wait for their landlord instead of just replacing their own light bulbs in 2 mins

The big lesson in life is you should just ask

that being said, gluing it all together can get quite tricky quite fast if you're not careful ask me how I know

the modern dev ecosystem is truly insane. between vercel, nextjs, convex, resend and polar you can build a saas for pretty much free, with amazing UX and DX
