I think most people don't even realise their TV is automatically set this way and makes most things you watch outside of maybe some sports look like interpolated mush

why did no one tell me jujutsu kaisen has a scene where in the middle of a battle a guy rants about how people keep upscaling and interpolating anime to 4k 60fps and how shit it is

Watched Mars Express the other day and it's progressively gotten better the more I've thought about it. Love the style, and the storytelling, but almost more than anything I just respect that opening. If you need any convincing just watch the first 5 minutes
