Bio of the Day: Annie Amelia Chesley (d. 1910), nursing superintendent and instructor. In 1897 several of Ottawa’s leading citizens had founded St Luke’s Hospital; Chesley was named lady superintendent. She was also active in the wider nursing profession. biographi.ca/en/bio/chesley…
