The paper, 'FlexTure: Designing Configurable and Dynamic Surface Features' is open-sourced and freely available. dl.acm.org/doi/10.1145/35… One may even print out the paper pages to "fold and cut" prototyping like a kid's book.

Tate Johnston, a @cmudesign @cmuhcii @MorphingMatLab undergrad, led a dynamic haptic work that won an honorable mention award at @acmdis2023 , a major design conference in ACM HCI. It is an elegant design twist on a popular robotic reconfigurable texture technique.

Happy to share that our recent work on bistable soft actuator is featured in 'Best of Advanced Materials Technologies 2022' (link:onlinelibrary.wiley.com/page/journal/2…) @lining_yao, @SoftMachinesLab, @VictorYichiLuo, @cmuhcii, @CMU_Mech

Happy to be part of two winning poster at CMUEnergy week

Congrats to the #CMUEnergyWeek student poster competition winners! To learn more about their research, check out the posters on display at the Sustainability Studio in Hunt Library.

“Seed” always reminds me of energy, hope, passion, and future. This URL carries that poetry. cmu.is/seed

Researchers in the Human-Computer Interaction Institute (@cmuhcii) have engineered a biodegradable self-burying seed carrier made of wood. The work could enable aerial seeding of difficult-to-access areas, and was featured as a cover story in @Nature. cmu.is/seed
