The paper, 'FlexTure: Designing Configurable and Dynamic Surface Features' is open-sourced and freely available. dl.acm.org/doi/10.1145/35… One may even print out the paper pages to "fold and cut" prototyping like a kid's book.
Tate Johnston, a @cmudesign @cmuhcii @MorphingMatLab undergrad, led a dynamic haptic work that won an honorable mention award at @acmdis2023 , a major design conference in ACM HCI. It is an elegant design twist on a popular robotic reconfigurable texture technique.

Researchers in the Human-Computer Interaction Institute (@cmuhcii) have engineered a biodegradable self-burying seed carrier made of wood. The work could enable aerial seeding of difficult-to-access areas, and was featured as a cover story in @Nature. cmu.is/seed
