Today marks the significant day for the entire community of Rupa Rural Municipality. National Health Insurance Program has been playing a vital role in achieving health equity across the country, and it is such a humble experience to be a part of this crucial initiative.
What an honour to get featured on the calendar of my Medical School alongside respected Prof. Dr. Harish Sir. From Guard dai handing me the calendar on the day of admission to being featured on the calendar with respected Sir, what an awesome journey medical college has been.
I love people who can put their pride aside, apologize, and actually change their behaviour. That awareness, accountability, and emotional intelligence is so attractive.
Sharing energy once in a while with this non-human human made me over-particular when it comes to spending time with another human soul.
There's a rise in conjunctivitis cases across the country & shortage of antibiotics for bacterial conjunctivitis. A temporary way to mitigate this problem could be to advise the patients to get the medicines from the health care centres at periphery, most of which have the stock.
Exactly. It builds trust for future health care seeking behaviour. Also, what I do is when the patient revisits the hospital, I talk about their previous illness and how they are living with it or recovered from it. Empathetic patient care is the key.
One of my favorite things to do is call a patient a few days after they saw me in the hospital/clinic and ask how they’re doing. They almost always love the follow up. And there’s no HPI, exam or documentation. Just human connection.
While I was working on my desk today, I suddenly gaze out of the window, and there was one of the most picturesque views that felt like a painted canvas. We often get carried away by our daily chaos and miss most of the blissful offerings nature offers every day. Pause & observe.
Be so fucking proud of yourself for surviving all the silent battles you never speak about.
How beautiful is the heart of those who go through the worst storms in life and still choose to stay gentle,silent,kind and humble. They win twice-“here and hereafter”
With all the chaos around and the fear of failure, we tend to neglect "the golden hour"- a time for self care; the time which shapes our perception and mindset yet we sacrifice this in pursuit of academic success thus sabotaging our creativity.
Helping someone to see and believe in what they are capable of is a gift that costs us almost nothing but can impact someone's life tremendously.
