Ivor Cutler was born in a Scotch sitting room 102 years ago today, a true national treasure. Here’s his portrait by Michael Knowles in the National Gallery, always makes me smile. #ivorcutler #lifeinascotchsittingroom @NatGalleriesSco
Good to start the year to recognise the great work done on Mental Health by our alliance in partnership with @BellaSankey @huxley06 and their team. We were sorry that @BellaSankey wasn’t able to be with us but look forward to meeting in the next few days.
Today's poem, 'If you didn't know what a storm is' by Matt Gilbert @RichlyEvocative, captures the atmosphere and ferocity of a storm. Read the full poem at the link below, or through the link in our bio: inksweatandtears.co.uk/matt-gilbert-2/
King Charles who loves killing foxes, birds, and badgers has been made Patron of the RSPCA. King Charles used his power to block a ban on Fox Hunting and to make sure it is the joke ban we currently have. RT if the RSPCA should remove him.
Details of how to buy a copy and of launch coming soon on my website.

I edited this book. I’m very proud of it. Proud of the author. Urgent and necessary, yes 🔥 James McConachie is such an impassioned, acrobatic writer. Many poems leave you breathless. @jamesmcconachi1 - ‘Consolamentum’ is superb 🤩
Excellent choices.
