If Jesus allows weeds to grow alongside the faithful, and I think it's fair to equate the weeds with lawlessness, then we can expect lawlessness (or corruption) to grow alongside Christianity.
1 ) Secularism is bad Christianity 2 ) If secularism is the best the Christian world can produce, then it deserves to lose to Islam 3 ) Better to be a good Muslim than a bad Christian 4 ) I suspect Jesus Christ would agree 5 ) On the other hand, perhaps this is all going to plan
One can admire the Islamic metaphysical mystics and yet agree with Rémi Brague that Islam (because of its sacralising of law and lack of the Christian-derived notion of the secular) is an inherently dangerous presence in the West unless closely guarded. I unashamedly think this.

False. Builders provide houses. They literally build them. Prior to the rise of land-hoarders outbidding families, it was working contributors who created the demand for homes. We need to get back to that. Financialization of shelter is immoral, inefficient, & anti-productive.

In a July sit-down w/ @eliseannallen of @Crux, Pope Leo XIV said his Black ancestry is part of an ethnic and experiential tapestry giving him "a real appreciation for the wonderful wealth of traditions and cultures and languages that make up the world and, of course, the Church."
Jesus replaced both the ends and means of what he saw as a corrupt society. How much more corrupt is our society in comparison? Of course the challenge is greater for us, but so is the reward. We must discern our path towards holiness (while avoiding collective deceptions).

We as Christians have no reason to believe we are any more obedient to the Word of God than the Jews have been. If anything, our faith in Jesus puts us under greater scrutiny. We may imagine we have the freedom to disobey, but we would only be fooling ourselves.
