Idk if people forgot if you did let me refresh your mind in 2023 RJ Barrett played a huge role in why the Knicks beat the Cavs in the playoffs. The mighty Cavs with Mitchell/Darland/Mobley/Allen on he outplayed all of them from games 3-5.
The Raptors got outscored 30-11 in the last 5 minutes of the 4th + overtime. Their 9-game win streak is over. Offense got stagnant + defense was getting hunted. Raptors' offense in the last two games w/o RJ Barrett has been... WOOF.
When we humbly come to God and show contrition for our sins, he is quick to forgive us. Much quicker than we forgive each other. God is the only one with true power to judge. Yet, he doesn’t judge us as harshly as we do each other. Confess to God your sins, ask for forgiveness
When we have a relationship with God, he expects to face the world with the confidence that we have his protection. Challenges are inevitable, but we have the comfort of knowing God is with us as we face them. And, will see us through.
When we face challenges that make us the most fearful, there is no one better to face them with than God. He will never leave us, or forsake us. And, he can deliver us from these challenges. I know because God did this for me. We have to invite him into our lives, & ask for help.
I CANNOT believe RJ Barrett in Toronto works but it does He's not pressing this season and it's correcting his efficiency/turnover issues Less counting stats but a tremendous impact on the team winning games
God created us with the desire to seek him. He wants to have a relationship with us and to be in our lives. When we seek him, and develop that relationship our spirits are most at peace. We can rely on him during hardships. This is what God desires.
When we practice these things, we are aligned with God’s will. His spirit will be with us so when can expect that our prayers will be received. We know there will be times when we fall short. We need to confess at those times our shortcomings, and ask for God’s forgiveness.

Jesus said the greatest commandment is love. God is love. Jesus asked that we love each other the way he loves us. Hate is taught. Children learn from their environment. We have to undo what the world taught us, and strive to follow what God teaches us. Pray to God for his help.
We can try to fool ourselves with justification of our actions. We can’t fool God. There is consequences for our sins. The good news is God is willing to grant us mercy if we only confess to them, and ask for forgiveness.
As a Knicks fan, this vid clip is why I advocated for replacing Thibs after the playoffs ended in 2023, before making any major trade. It’s why Toronto’s entire rotation is unlocked.
RJ is such an intelligent player. You could see him quickly doing the math, then turn and look for IQ.
Jesus came to save us. He didn’t come to demean us, scare us, tear us down, etc. He came out of God’s love for us to teach us how to live in God’s will, & to please him. He spent time with people whom were the least righteous. It was purely unselfish motives, born out of love.
Let’s remember when we build a relationship with God he is with us. He won’t let us fall. Take solace in him, have faith in him, let him be your peace. Take your anxieties to God. This is exactly what he instructed us to do.
