God created us with the desire to seek him. He wants to have a relationship with us and to be in our lives. When we seek him, and develop that relationship our spirits are most at peace. We can rely on him during hardships. This is what God desires.
When we practice these things, we are aligned with God’s will. His spirit will be with us so when can expect that our prayers will be received. We know there will be times when we fall short. We need to confess at those times our shortcomings, and ask for God’s forgiveness.

Jesus said the greatest commandment is love. God is love. Jesus asked that we love each other the way he loves us. Hate is taught. Children learn from their environment. We have to undo what the world taught us, and strive to follow what God teaches us. Pray to God for his help.
We can try to fool ourselves with justification of our actions. We can’t fool God. There is consequences for our sins. The good news is God is willing to grant us mercy if we only confess to them, and ask for forgiveness.
As a Knicks fan, this vid clip is why I advocated for replacing Thibs after the playoffs ended in 2023, before making any major trade. It’s why Toronto’s entire rotation is unlocked.
RJ is such an intelligent player. You could see him quickly doing the math, then turn and look for IQ.
Jesus came to save us. He didn’t come to demean us, scare us, tear us down, etc. He came out of God’s love for us to teach us how to live in God’s will, & to please him. He spent time with people whom were the least righteous. It was purely unselfish motives, born out of love.
Let’s remember when we build a relationship with God he is with us. He won’t let us fall. Take solace in him, have faith in him, let him be your peace. Take your anxieties to God. This is exactly what he instructed us to do.
There is a common misconception that we’re saved by being good people. The truth is this doesn’t save anyone. We receive salvation as a result of our faith in God. What ends up happening when God is so prevalent in our lives we tend to want to do what he asks. Like loving others.
God loves us. He desires to be in our lives, and for us to seek his presence. It’s wise for us to understand we get peace by bringing things we face in our lives to him. Please reach out and invite God in into your lives.
God tends to all of his creation. We are the most important of his creations. He wants us to place our faith in him, &. not be anxious over things he knows we need. If he tends to the creatures of this world, how much more so us? Invite God into your lives, & have faith in him
Prayer is powerful. God doesn’t intervene in our lives uninvited. Praying is how we invite God into our lives. We can’t expect God to be with us, if we don’t invite him to be. Praying is how we communicate, establish a connection, and build a relationship with God.
This is the commandment Jesus gave us. It encompasses all of the original commandments. It’s not easy to love one another, as Jesus loves us. But, it’s the goal we need to work towards. It takes a lot of work, dedication, and desire. We need to pray to God to help us achieve it.
Let’s be prepared to serve God in all we do. We may procrastinate in other areas, but let’s be diligent in building our relationship with God. Let’s prioritize following his word, and seeking opportunities to serve.
God continues to mold us during our entire existence here. When we ask God to be in our lives, and trust him to pave the way, we will be molded into something that edifies us. And, exalts God. We only have to put our faith in him.
It’s good to ask ourselves this question at times. Let’s be cognizant of doing the things God asks of us. The most major request is to love one another. Not just people we want to love like family, or romantic interest. But, even strangers. We need to ask God for help with this.
In this world we will experience a multitude of situations, and feelings. It’s part of our journey here. Let’s remember to put God first through every season of our life. Lean on him when we’re up to not lose sight of him. And, in challenging times to get help in pulling thru.
