I left the Department of Justice to run for Attorney General because corruption is running rampant through our elected offices. Throughout my career as a federal prosecutor, I spent my time taking down cartel leaders, violent prison gangs, and mafia bosses.
My first op-ed! I believe improving reading scores requires us to also address the root challenges—funding, teacher certification, retention, and support, and the mental health and economic barriers our students face. We can’t solve one without the other.

In response to the resignation of the State Superintendent:
Maybe I was onto something?! While the AG and Ethics Commission didn’t find that Walters broke the law, it’s clear he’s used his position for personal gain. He was never in it for the kids.
@epogeokc requested an AG opinion and filed a formal complaint with the Ethics Commission about Walters' use of his official state letterhead to promote an alternative to "woke teachers' unions," potentially violating more ethics rules. #oklaed nondoc.com/2025/04/09/aft…
