No! Just heard the dreaded words in #usability test: "After using this site a time or two, a customer would get used to it." #UX

@StateFarm⁩ This is the experience all day, in every browser, web site and mobile app, when trying to add a new vehicle. ETA on fix?

In product and service design, the absence of user research has a technical name: Guessing.

It wouldn't be #AprilFoolsDay without another gem from @nngroup. "Tooltips should read 'You know what to do here.'" made me laugh out loud. nngroup.com/articles/recal… #UX

Haha, OK internet. Joke's up. Stop your conspiratorial bad #UX plot. I'm a good guy. @MetLife

According to @StateFarm, this is not evidence of payment! WTH? #ux #cx #CommonSense #fail

Did you know that @StateFarm shows payment confirmations on their web site and mobile app when they didn't actually get a payment -- and then they deny coverage if you have an accident?! Deceptive and disloyal. And simply terrible IT and customer service.

My puppy has gotten to know the voice of @jmspool at this week's intensive. Good quality nap time for him. UX strategy must be so soothing.

Quoteworthy from @jmspool in today's UX-Agile session: "Great designers fall in love with their problems, not their solutions." This resonates. As does "The devil's greatest trick is that he convinced us to use Jira." #UX

"It feels standard" are 3 of my favorite words that customers say during usability testing. I'm not diminishing wow-factor and pleasant surprises, but much of the time, we want our transactional experiences to just be normal and expected. #ux #usability
