Just when you thought endothelial dysfunction was bad enough already for its involvement in a host of common, prevalent, chronic diseases, here it comes again, swinging for the bleachers.
Back to the roots: Covid is an endothelial disease; sure, the lungs are affected, but CV causes are as important for the outcome, i.e. VTE due to TF , ischemia in all organs - inflammation as the final common pathway leading to endothelial dysfunction: red it, it's worth it!
