In front of me 3 months ago sat a kiddo who struggled with math; a kid who pushed back so hard to do anything other than math. Today sits a student who just talked to me through every step of long division with 100% accuracy on her independent work! Today is a good day! ❤️
They love Among Us, I love a good division review; combine the two and you would have thought I gave them each a million dollars! 😉👏🏼🤩

Jamboard was a virtual GAME CHANGER in math today!! Thankful for amazing technology that allows us to truly connect with these kiddos from home.

The first day of long division is always one of my favorites! So many light bulb moments. All I heard today was, “This is so fun!” Calling that a Friday the 13th win. ☺️

Remember to be the calm in the storm. Is virtual learning a possibility in our near future? Yes. Is it worth stressing our students and ourselves out about? No. Enjoy being present with them while they are in front of us! Those will be the moments they remember!
When you get MO weather like this in November you take your math independent work outside! Good for the soul! ☺️👍🏼
