Worked the late A&E SHO shift on NYE and came out to this. Hundreds of maskless, drunk people in huge groups shouting "Covid is a hoax", literally outside the building where hundreds are sick and dying. Why do people still not realise the seriousness of this pandemic?
I think the middle aged blokes getting their facts from Facebook and YouTube are more of a danger to society than any virus.
All the people I know who’ve had COVID either work in a school/education setting or have caught it from their kids who are at school. If adults can work effectively from home for 9 months, kids can learn effectively from home until it’s safe. CLOSE THE SCHOOLS.
