All the Zephyr haters are going to feel rather silly in a few years.

I ❤️ open instruction sets

Renesas Electronics R9A02G021 48MHz RISC-V, 128K flash, 16K RAM $1.33 @ 3k The only non-China RISC-V only MCU I could find on DigiKey. Notably, it operates up to 5.5V! Regular peripheral set, also has a 12 bit ADC and 8 bit DAC.

It is great to see someone else make use of that adapter. It expands the Arduino MKR form factor to pmod and click. Soldering optional.

Funny test: the @fpgahelper (thanks for the boards) Ziggy Bridge MKR board with a LAN8720 PMOD and AXE5000 (@AlteraFPGA_ Agilex5). Everything with @enjoy_digital LiteX/LiteEth. netboot works out of the box to load LiteX-bare-demo and donut! 🎇🥂

All three are equivalent. The first two being the same is absolutely intuitive, but it took me a while to realize how and why the last one works too. I'll probably remember this for the rest of my life as a "one weird trick" that can come in handy sometimes.
