Maynard High School offers APCSA. We are currently in Year 3 of it. But we are exploring the AP CSP course to help integrate our Computer Science Innovation Pathways. These are "different" types of AP classes when compared to the traditional academic ones.

Using the Beecology website, I looked up some data about the Americna Bumble Bee (Bombus pensylvanicus), which is endangered in Massachusetts. The data set there (about observations) has an interesting peak! #CSTANE2022
I try to teach my students that Computer Science is necessary for analyzing data that cannot be done easily or quickly by hand. This is certainly true from what I see about what is being done to save the Bees! beecology.wpi.edu/website/partic… #CSTANE2022
