Next week in Parliament, I will be voting for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. I urge fellow MPs to wake up, think about what is happening in Gaza, and do the same.
Good that the Bowie archive ad is drawing attention to appalling sector pay. But of course people live on £27k (and much less) in London, 'dream job' or not -- suggesting otherwise seems counterproductive in ignoring swathes of the workforce 1/2
Just a warning about British jobs like this— £27k per annum pre tax is not London living wage. And it’s not enough to make any UK visa minimum. You can’t live off this no matter how fun it sounds, and since it’s full time, that basically means it has to go to someone wealthy.
