Watching increasing numbers of these clips, I’m coming round to the idea that John Barnes was perhaps LFC’s greatest ever player, after all. Only the fact that we were limited to just 3 years of his pre injury peak complicates the debate.
Attackers have always been our bread and butter we always win attackingly.
2 assists (including winning the pen), 4 big chances created, 6 dribbles, countless ground duels won (too many to count) and brilliant defensively. One of the best performances I’ve seen in a Liverpool shirt from one of the best footballers ever.
