Just wrapped up a productive research visit to University of Tokyo! submitted a ~£3M #EPSRC/#JST proposal and spoke at an ASPIRE workshop on our work on human-centred privacy, security, and safety in #XR & the #Metaverse. Grateful to Yusuke Sugano for inviting me and hosting me!

@glasgow_gist has contributed significantly to #CHI2025 with 13 papers (3 with awards), 2 journal papers, and several late breaking works. Our own Sharon Ding co-led the technical program, managing 5k paper submissions (more in other tracks) & coordinating a whopping 18k reviews!

New research at @acm_chi: How can interactive technology benefit both zoo animals and visitors? We developed a device allowing red-ruffed lemurs to trigger smell, sound & visual stimuli. Result: 4021 interactions over 63 days, with lemurs preferring multimodal to unimodal stimuli
