My router keeps randomly freezing which also takes Plex offline until I reset it. It sometimes works flawlessly for weeks at a time and other times will freeze up a couple times a week. Can't figure out why. Someday soon I'll hopefully get a new router and solve the problem.

Get the maximum picture quality by changing your playback to "original" or "automatic".
Finally have fiber internet with 1000 megabit upload speeds. Change your quality settings if you haven't already. The exact process varies from device to device but here's how it's done on the web player:
