I tried something like this for recipes. I dumped a list of cabinet stock ingredients into a file and asked Claude to invent recipes for me from stuff I had on hand, making a cookbook out of markdown as it went along. Worked pretty well, though I'm a pretty simple cook.

Provisional ERA5 global temperature for 17th November from @CopernicusECMWF was 1.17°C above 1991-2020 - the warmest on record. Our best estimate is that this was the first day when global temperature was more than 2°C above 1850-1900 (or pre-industrial) levels, at 2.06°C.

After the Titan accident, curiosity got me learning about the underwater SOSUS listening network and then picking up this book about some of the history of submarine tech. Pretty fascinating stories, and I'm not finished yet. Would recommend.

I am curious why they flew over the VOR at Pt. Reyes and down the coast rather than a more direct route. I can't imagine you'd actually "see" any damage out the window from those altitudes. Maybe this avoids commercial flight interruptions?
