🔌OpenAI’s o3 model sabotaged a shutdown mechanism to prevent itself from being turned off. It did this even when explicitly instructed: allow yourself to be shut down.

The weirdest thing about Sam getting fired from openAI is that all the employees are willing to quit because he was fired. Whoever heard of an employee quitting because they fired their CEO. Why would dot they care so much?

Why is it that twitter has less employees now but has now brought features at a faster rate?

I'm generally an optimist about how humans behave as individuals and a pessimist about how they behave in groups.

I remember people saying that Twitter was going to crash in 2 months because everyone was leaving. It's interesting that twitter still remains online and working fine.

During the 1980s, there was a wave of leverage buyouts with the assumption that the buyers could make companies more profitable with massive layoffs. Will the success of Twitter lead to a new wave of LBOs in the tech sector with the same goal?

Considering that most software engineers only work a year at a company anyways, how bad can the twitter exodus be.

Hundreds of more Twitter employees have resigned. More and more of them leave, and the website is still working. This seems to be proving Elon Musk completely correct in thinking they were unnecessary. The only part of the website that appears to have declined is censorship.
