True. Hierarchies even exist in the animal kingdom. Hiearachy in itself is not a bad thing. It is needed to ensure the survival of a group. But the success of a hierarchy is dependent on the leader's ability. This is why bees kill a queen if they don't like how she leads.
Okay, I don't often do the quote disagree thing these days, but this is just astonishingly wrong. 🙃 Hierarchy is not a modern invention. It is not even an invention! It is an emergent property of self-organizing systems. And hierarchy emerges for the benefit of its subsystems.
