Old school thoughts on baseball coaches: Never wear a glove to throw bp, never wear batting gloves to hit in and out, never use a metal fungo to hit in and out, when hitting a fungo- always use the back hand to throw the ball up. I miss any?
It’s hard to sum up into words what these last couple of weeks have meant to me. I had the time of my life representing that USA on my chest! The energy was electric and made the WBC a moment I’ll always cherish. So thank you all so much. It was an honor to be your captain. 🫡🇺🇸

High School Athletics aren't designed to be rec leagues! They're actually designed to be competitive athletics that require hard work/sacrifice/commitment and the ability to be a great teammate.
Facts I know about analytics in baseball….A swing and miss has an exit velocity of ZERO mph and a nonexistent launch angle. Spin rate doesn’t matter if you can’t throw strikes. Errors don’t get out. Make contact, throw strikes, play defense. It worked for many years!
