On January 4, 2025, my bill, HR 5103 – "The FISHES Act" was signed into law by the President. HR 5103 expedites the delivery of much-needed fishery disaster relief to coastal communities. Today, we received the pen & signed copy of this monumental win for the people of Florida.

Raised in Fort Myers, Mike “The Gator” Greenwell was a legend of our Southwest Florida community. Erika and I pray for the strength of the Greenwell Family during this time of grief.
We are deeply saddened by the passing of Red Sox Hall of Famer Mike Greenwell. “The Gator” spent his entire career in a Red Sox uniform and was a beloved fixture of Fenway and Fort Myers. He gave so much to Lee County and Sox Nation. We send our love to the Greenwell family.
