Character and it doesn't address the mixed yume's where they're sharing on certain characters but non sharing on others. So I'm not to sure about this idea-
Basically you can always lock channels behind certain roles so people who are sharing can stay in the sharing channels, non sharers can stay on the non sharers channels but that creates the second problem that there's a higher chance two or four people are non sharing the same-
You know what i had an idea for the sharing statuses yume's the problem is that it'll probably create a bunch of channels you'll have to separate. And I'm not sure if anyone knows how to put certain roles on certain yumes
Ithaqua would probably be a Feiyan gachikoi that had like, LOADS of merch in his room, has a burner public account to see what is going on, and a priv to just go like "she's so gorgeous" "so pretty oh my lord"

Not exactly an IDV yume server, but I do have a multifandom yume server (invite only) where I keep track of everyone's f/o's, triggers, etc. There are rules for not overposting, and I always check with other members before inviting a new member. Although, most are IDV yumes,, ^^;
that's why I just have a personal one for some of my friends and that's it, and how it always should be honestly
also idv fans fucking hate each other it's not even funny. if you put all the Richard, Norton, Joseph, Aesop, and naib yumes on twitter in one spot genuinely someone would die
everyone would kill each other. the "women shouldn't yume Richard discourse" would probably be the reason why

joseph has a whole ROOM dedicated to his merch shrine, and he frequently posts (on an alt so nobody in his daily life knows) oshikatsu and how he brings his little bea plush everywhere. he also absolutely edits her into his selfies, but those dont get posted for obvious reasons

like no you can't force ppl to give everyone the same energy all the time, yet ppls msges don't expire & it's upsetting when they get ignored! or if the only acknowledgement is someone else riffing off of what someone says, it's even worse if what they said was rly personal etc.
the downside of yume servers (+discord servers in general) is that it's very common for ppl to just talk AT others instead of with, everyone wants to be heard but sometimes at the expense of others... but it's hard to enforce this tbvh
i would love to be part of one, but at the same time bc everyone's sharing statuses are different it can get kinda uncomfortable rly fast! and ideally it would be good for everyone to get attention, so i think it would require certain etiquette... like no overposting w/o replying
