Felt like this since the beginning of MCP hype and glad it’s getting a proper proof!
All those CLI tools are pretty trivial. That's the point. Get into the mindset that just building tiny CLI tools and handing them to your agent is really all you need most of the time. Frontier models (GPT, Gemini, Opus) can deal with those tools (GPT is a bit less efficient)
Astonishing read

Hardware: hard (fixed). Software: soft (malleable). Firmware: firm, in between hard and soft (the OS layer). Now we have vibecoding: so it’s time to have Vibeware (and Vibeware engineers). @karpathy
incredible that the ability to copy a file between two machines sitting right next to each other is gated by nothing but a bunch of boomers waving their legal teams around.
Bruh I can even Airdrop to my Mac's. Bruh this is a game changer for me being an Android user that uses Mac.
This will hit the Android ecosystem like a storm. Apple has no chance defending AirDrop – its now in public domain. Hope AirPlay follows! Another brick in the wall. Great work, @Android!
. @Polymarket will apple block Google Android's implementation of AirDrop?
Apple is backed into a corner here. On one hand, they want to kill this ASAP. On the other, they don’t want another RCS-level PR and regulator war on their hands. Extremely curious what happens next. I’d lean toward Apple just blocking it and not caring.
Astonishing achievement, kudos! Please, bring AirPlay and AirPrint as well.
Sharing moments shouldn’t depend on the phone you have. Starting today with the Pixel 10 family, Quick Share now works with AirDrop, making secure file transfers between Android phones and iPhones more seamless. This builds on our commitment to cross-OS compatibility to bridge…

The EU Chat Control proposal would be a catastrophe for Europe. It would seal Europeans behind a new digital Berlin wall, cut off from Signal and other e2e messengers. It's embarrassing and dangerous that it's gotten this close already. Time to bail to back to sanity.
We are alarmed by reports that Germany is on the verge of a catastrophic about-face, reversing its longstanding and principled opposition to the EU’s Chat Control proposal which, if passed, could spell the end of the right to privacy in Europe. signal.org/blog/pdfs/germ…
