Advice to my former self when switching jobs: Take weeks between starting a new job to recharge; especially if the old job was years-long, nonstop. Employers always push you to start ASAP but it never really mattered. Neither was it worth it to stay on longer at the old place.

TypeScript Tip 💡 TypeScript allows us a lot of flexibility when using their inbuilt Utility Types. For instance, we can use "Extract" to create a new type containing only properties that are assignable to a given type.
